NZ sounds really great. Have you hit the high country yet? There is a suspicion that you're drawing a veil over the Chile part of the trip! And where are the photos - come on girl, you're not out there to enjoy yourself. Great to see you on video link last night..
Alex

well if the weather's not so good, what are the shops like? Surely some retail therapy is just the ticket to avoid the rain! Cornwall was very sunny in a clear, frosty, (freezing) way. So it's true that Mrs Thatcher lost the vote then???
Christie
actually, today in Auckland, it is RAINING. The Gods are laughing at me. And apparantly the South Island where we're headed is freezing!!
Rick Stein's sounds goood Rona. Isnt Cornwall lovely! I hope you got a few sunny days...
Dont worry mum, I didnt know that we had a new PM... Durrrrrrrr
Rona
Hi Hunny - just caught up with all your news and the photos - wow, talk about going back in time, loving the curls you gorgeous creature! I have been doing a spot of travelling myself - as far as Cornwall you'll be impressed to hear. Went for lunch at Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant - cost a week's wages but hey............ Everyone I have ever know who has been to NZ wants to live there so guess you'll be having a fab time. V.envious of the clouds - bet there's no such thing as a dreach day where you are. x
Sal
Poor poor Beth, in fact poor you too! Are you sure this is a HOLIDAY? The only bit that sounds good in that latest blog are the clouds and the kind Argentinian folk! Have made a complete muppet of myself today (surely not?) by telling everyone you were heading to Auckland in Australia and that the flight will last 29 hours (I didn't know!) so lying a bit low now! Safe journey! LOL xxx
Stan
Well, I'm not one to complain but the photos don't seem to be coming through. Christie on horseback - there's a thought..
Debbie
Rich sent me over the link so I could keep up with your travels. Looking amazing so far. Afraid the only tips for you for Santiago I could come up with were not to stay in the Best Western, but it's got a great Indian restaurant!! So there you go, sure that'll be the highlight of your trip Looking forward to seeing the rest of it. Enjoy and don't rush back here!!
Sal
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, MY SWEET! Hope you have a lovely day. I'm just watching out for the Royal Mail van (well, he can't manage 'em all on a bike!) bringing my cards!
Nick
So how are the argies traeting you? Have you done the Evita trail? When are you off to NZ? Hows the tan coming along?
Sal
Haven't been able to find out anything interesting about Santiago (where I think you move to on Friday?) so I hope YOU do - have learned that it's the capital of Chile, though! You do know you are missing the British Energy Pantomime tomorrow, I suppose? (oh no, I'm not, oh yes you are. . .)
Sal
Any smartass who knows how I managed to write a word in BLUE this morning, let me know!
