right so I thought I'd write about my (predictably) crap bus journey out of saigon. I knew it would be crap, Ive quite badly wanted to just fly to the various places up the coast of Vietnam but I thought that wasnt perhaps getting into the spirit of things. ew it was gross. thankfully there were a couple of english guys so I felt a weeny bit safer but I was still squashed up on one side by a big fat snoring, arms thrown over the head, fairly bad BO Vietnamese ...

Im glad it doesnt have that title because you'd all hate me and delete the blog URL from your favourites list and it might also mean that I had to think up a catchy title for every blog and frankly, who has the energy for that!? So, I have been blessed, (yes, 'blessed' in the clouds-parting and angels smiling and the weather god saying - 'there you go kid') with possibly the best beach weather ever. ...

Just a quick entry to let you know how Im getting on.. So I have come to Phu Quoc at a less than ideal time of year I think - Oct/Nov here is supposed to be idyllic but right now its a little bizarre as Im sharing the island (and its big) with only a handful of people. Some resorts have no-one staying there at all so when I went along with another English couple thered be about 20 members of staff and just us in the whole place. And then theres the weather.. ...
