Aw hello guys, all my lovely readers.. We had a sunny day! Its was lovely and the sun made the island look absolutely beautiful. But then the clouds regrouped and today there has been more rain. An aussie girl managed to raise us from our stupor on the sofa and we went with one of the reggae band menbers (they love reggae here) from our hostel to a waterfall. The coffee at breakfast mustve kicked in cos I agreed to swim in the very cold pool and stand under the waterfall. Once again im feeling very lucky that I didnt cut my foot open or break an ankle on the rocks. This poor chap had to haul me (pretty heavy) out of the pool cos a bit like on the inca trail I seem to get a bit narcaleptic (if thats the word) after a hike.
Aside from that its not all party party party - although people keep inviting us to hang out - but the weather makes me sleepy! Still over the last few days Ive spent every afternoon in a hammock which is one of my favourite things to do and we are by the sea listening to the waves so its nice. Probably gonna go out on the boaT tomorrow unless inertia sets in (which is quite likely). Just enjoying taking it easy. Will pray to St Jude, patron saint of lost causes for an improvement in the weather but apparently the mist and rain is here to stay. Still, Ive found a local beer I like (Skol, reminds me of Stella) so all is not lost. Will updaye you next time I actually get up off my ass. Glad to hear Ivan and the guys are enjoying office life. Ha ha ha ha ha.
