Yesterday arrived in Bristol. Did the walking in Henleaze and visiting friends and relatives. All good and relaxing and spent time catching up on email and links for next week re medical leadership and curriculum development .

A leisurely day with some initial work in the morning and then visited the Vyne manor and national trust in Hampshire. Enjoyable visit with walks and the obligatory afternoon tea and scones

A day in surrounds of Woking and catching up on various emails. Weather still holding and good to walk along the Basingstoke canal route despite the green algae covering the surface.

Long day and visited the national trust area of hindhead and devils punch bowl . Two hour walk and the lunch, after that back to Woking and then train and watched play in hackney. Was a community based play that covered avarice and greed. Bus back to Waterloo and then Woking.

A day in London and seeing about medical leadership at St. Andrews place. Main memories long walks and great weather and seeing at the national theatre Great Britain. Lots of politics in the show from a cynical perspective re Murdoch press.
