Bangkok!! I really don't believe there's a short description for how this city really is! We've been in sleepy Daylesford for the past two and a half years and walking into Bangkok today was, lets just say, levelling! After landing we sorted out some bits and pieces at the airport then got a taxi to our hotel. Our cab driver was obviously not having a great day because I thought he was going to throw us out half way there. He was like an angry bird straight out of the i-store. What a mad dog. I'd like to say we befriended him but it didn't end well at all. Bad looks were exchanged and off he went.

Dropped our bags at the hotel and went missioning for the sky train depot. En- route was insane. A complete sensory overload of smells, sights and just general "what the fxxk"! This city is in a complete league of its own. Exposed cables are always at arms length and even the most precarious of sidewalks are used to deep fry all sorts of dumplings and other delights. OH&S kiss my ass.

A couple of hours of shopping, getting lost on the way back and a taxi ride with a dude who came straight out of "fast and the furious" and we were back at the hotel for a beer. We're now waiting for our friends to arrive from Cape Town and London! Many pics to follow. Can't wait for tomorrow
