Hey guys!

So only two weeks left and im home again! But a lot has happened since last time:

So these competitions... the one in Yantai was bigger, not huge but still maybe about 300 or so people watching, than the one in Muping but in my opinion the standard was better at the muping one, saw some amazing mantis and wushu displays. How did I do?

Gold Medals... both of them . Was unexpected but a very plesant suprise! I'm going to one final competition in Dalian next weekend ( the 28th maybe) which is as far as ive been told (which is never very much) is going to be bigger and of a much higher standard! Look forward to seeing more good martial arts displays and having an eventful trip as we have to get a ferry to go there! Dalian is directly north of us in Yantai, over the sea...

Training wise nearly all is well, just more niggling injuries, hips, ankles, knees, back, wrists and my big toe.... you know the usual! I've learnt a short staff form which is fiarly similar in looks and style of movement as japanese and i've also learnt a Dan Dao a sword form which is quite cool and not nearly as dreaded as i though it would be!

My master asked what i would like to elarn before I leave, I siad that he should choose as he is the master and all I do is see stuff and say' oo that looks cool' so he cmae bvacka nd said that he's goign to try and teach me a chain whip aka nine section whip form before i leave!

Anyways I'll see you all soon with or without presents I dont know as i'm bang out of cash thanks to the visas but at least ill be home!
