Day 3 ... local produce Market in the morning. Booked next 2 stops, Berlin then Krakow. Canal tour in the late afternoon. Lots of the canals were man-made in the 17th century!

Day 2 in Amsterdam... Amsterdam Arena today for Edwin Van Der Sars testimonial. 3 matches including Ajax 95 v Holland 98 and Ajax v Edwins Dream Team XI. Good football. great arena. Shook hands with Sir Bobby Charlton. Amsterdam at night is beautiful.

Day 1 in Amsterdam... rode the double-decker train from the Airport to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Checked in etc. Walked round the city, went to the flea market. Fell asleep in the sun in Rembrandt Square and got a bit burnt while listening to a street musician performing renditions of 'Hey Joe', 'Let It Be' and 'Stairway to Heaven' on a Spanish guitar. Which was nice. Saw a street magician juggling fire while riding a unicycle.
