Chris & pauls world trip
12th to 15th feb
Arrived in Vegas after a very bumpy flight ( I was not impressed) we were flying quite low as it was only 1hr 15min flight which gave us a good view of the snow covered mountains, quite a site to see. Well what can I say about Vegas, it's loud, it's dazzling, it's overwhelming, you just have to see it to believe it. Our hotel is a pyramid, it's fantastic, it's not like a hotel as we know it, it's like an indoor theme park as are all the hotels in Vegas.I got lost on a number of occasions until I got my bearings. We did lots of walking up and down the strip, it took us most of the day to get from one end to the other. We hopped on a bus on the way back, which would have been quicker to walk due to the traffic, but we didn't care at this point because we were sitting down and resting our throbbing feet. The 24hr buffets are amazing here, every hotel has one and you can eat all you like for about 8 pounds. Weather is nice and sunny in the day and you just need a light jacket on at night.
Paul went on a helicopter trip to the grand canyon and the hoover dam, he had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed it, I decided to pass on that one. We had a little flutter on the machines on the last night but unfortunately we won't be able to retire yet.
Next update will be from Honolulu.
