Just a short entry today due to the fact we're both pretty hungover.

We visited some really cool Cenotes or sink holes the day before we left Merida. We accessed them via horse drawn train and it was amazing. The water was really warm and we had the place to ourselves, beautiful!

After leaving Merida we visited Chichen Itza on the way to Playa del Carmen where we currently reside. The site was awe inspiring and really well restored.

PDC is very Americanised and touristy, so we're itching to leave for Tulum tomorrow! It's one redeeming quality was that we were drinking on our balcony last night and got chatting to some cool Mexicans, the rum and Tequila flowed late into the night. Needless to say, we've spent most of today sleeping!
