Hola,

Well i am now 26.. offically mid-twentys! Thanks for all the facebook messages and texts.. i felt very special!

We are currently in vientiane, Laos capital city. It sits on one the edge of the mekong river and watching the sunset over it is really quite spectacular. You would have thought we would be sick of sunsets by now but we just cant seen to get enough of them. luckly there seems to be one everyday over here (dad joke ahoy!).

We had a awsome, if a very bumpy and stomach turning bus journey to get here. Laos really is beautiful. We spent sometime amble though temples adn national monuments. I managed to drown my camara while tubing so im having to rely on my very own David Bailey (his camara is his baby) to take all the photos.

You can really see the french infulence in Vientiane.. Frogs everywhere. There are baguatte stalls on every corner.. its sandwich heaven. Loads of the signs are in french and there are also lots of french restarants. We went out last night to celebrate my birthday and spent more money on one meal than we ussually spend in a week. It was definatly worth it.. and there was CHEESE!
