Alright peeps

We have been in Singapore of 3 days and already feel a long way from the asia we know and love. The city is clean, quiet and really easy to get around even though it is huge. The traffic obeys the rules of the road and people use traffic lights, there are no street vendors. In short its nothing like the asia we know. Its been really nice bring in such a western city but i already really miss the crazyness and bussling streets of a normal asia.

Singapore is very metropolitan (if i have spelt that right then i deserve a gold star!) and is very cultrally divrse while Chinese, Indian and Malay all mixed up. In short its very cool!

Sorry that was short but if i said everything we'v done it would take ages so heres a list:

History musium - i now feel informed

Little India - kinda like a china town but India instead.

China Town - this is self explanitory

The Quay - very good bars in which we drank Singapore Slings (when in rome)!

Botanical Gardens - which are massive.. we had a picnic and an ice cream!

And other stuff!

We fly tonight to Australia and we are both very excited. This marks a new stage in our trip and a whole new learning or relearning curve.. no haggling in supermarkets!
