It was good to get moving again after our little time out on Koh Tao & boy were we right in the thick of it! We decided to get the night boat to the mainland & then a couple of minibus thingys over to Krabi & Lanta. It was a wonderful experience - rows of 5cm thick "mattress'" that helps you to understand how cattle feel when going to the slaughterhouse! Luckily, we had planned ahead & had a lovely bottle of Bacardi & an equally lovely bottle of Coke to help us on our way - it's a while since i've been fully awake & drinking at 5am... I think our driver was a bit worse off though.

The weather on Lanta was a bit rubbish so we only spent a couple of days there & were a bit isolated so we didn't exactly do much either!

Phi Phi was different though & we spent a few days there. We bumped into a couple of peeps we had met earlier so had a good couple of nights out. We went to a bar where you can get up into the ring & take on one of your mates at a bit of Muay Thai..... I declined, the shorts didn't look very flattering. They also hade a couple of pro's put on a "fight" that the WWE would have been proud of, they even ended up out of the ringing throwing metal trays at each other!!! Emma even decided to follow the track to the top of the island & took some pictures, while i was off diving again. It's a lovely place & you can see why it's so popular, even though there's a lot of construction / re-construction going on.

Off to Phuket...... not sure either of us were looking forward to it
