Yet again we were on our way back to a beach. Having sat for an hour or two in the KL bus station, sweating profusely, our bus driver thought we were in need of some pretty strong air conditioning & turned it up full blast for entire night time journey. We tried to get some sleep wearing our kags towels & just about everything we were able to find in our little bags... didn't really work very well! We got there in the end though & it was worth it...

we arrived in kl after a really cheap flight from phuket. we took the skytrain monorail thingy to our hotel which was in the central business district. The hotel was pretty nice considering it was surrounded by giant 5 star places like the mandarin oriental, and the crown plaza. (little did we know we would be living the high life ourselves pretty soon...). We took a trip up the Petronas towers, amazing views and you're only allowed half way! Still pretty hig...
