hello everyone, We arrived in LP last night after the amazing boat trip down the Mekong River. We upped our budget for guest houses last night as i demanded hot water (no shower for 3 days....) so we found somewhere lovely for a whopping $6 a night! Mucking about on the river!!! Ain't it marvellous! It certainly is when you get dropped for an overnight stay in the middle of NOWHERE, Laos and get mobbed by almost the entire population of the town saying "Meesta, Meesta you come stay my guest house" having been drinking all day....
