After our last trip (Whitsundays, for those of you who don't remember) we went down to Hervey Bay & Fraser Island. Didn't fancy the responsibility of driving ourselves & did fancy the idea of being cooked for, so we booked ourselves on a tour in a massive green 4WD bus thingy.... It was cool though, being driven up & down the beach to all the landmarks. Climbing up Indian Head & seeing Tiger Sharks (very close to some fisher men), Dolphins, more Turtles & a Dingo. Again managed to meet people from earlier in our trip & had a drink or 2. Also managed to see the only single day where England actually did well in the cricket... Aren't I the lucky one!

Headed on down to Surfers Paradise, didn't like it much because we were asked for ID to get into the Holiday Park!!!!!! But of course we didn't have any, so I blubbed enough for the woman to let us in. From there we went to Warner Bros Movie World & had a real touristy day.

Noosa - lovely, nice beach / surf.

Byron Bay - Seriously great place. Spent a few nights here drinking, improving the tans & that's about it...

Then we took off down to Sydney via Port MacQuarie & Coffs Harbour. Didn't stay in Sydney, but went further on down the coast.

Inland to Canberra, due to the lack of time we got there late, spent one night, GOT OUR NEW PASSPORTS!!!!!!! And left. Spent a lovely couple of days with the relo's Richard, Diane & Bronny (and Bruno & Coco) in Sky Farm, Kangaroo Valley. Then said farewell to the van & hello to Sydney (properly this time).

Couple of nights in Sydney then it was Christmas time!!! Couldn't quite believe it though cos it was so hot! Dave & Caz came out from England to cheer us up & take us to the pub though. Or at least that's what we thought. "I've got something to tell you. Dave's got me up the duff..." changed the drinking plans for the next 3 weeks & meant we had to make up for it by drinking Carolines share of the booze.... Not an easy task
