My coach was leaving LA at 6.30 so I was up at 5.15 getting organised. I caught a taxi to the bus station hoping it wasnt too far, however $40 later I got there!!!! I went to check in and was overweight so had to empty come things from my suitcase, after taking loads out including a bottle I got for Lesley who im visiting in Miami they decided to tell me that I wasnt allowed to take alcohol on board and took it from me!!!! Oh the joys!!!!

On board I met a guy called Ryan who spent the journey educatng me on religion and I actually learnt loads about how corrupt the US government are!!!!!lol. He said I could get a lift with his Mum which was fab. Once we arrived we waited for his Mum and headed to the hotel. On the way we stopped at his Grandma's, who was fab. They were so welcoming. I just loved San Diego it was such a lovely place, a bit different coming from tacky LA lol. After leaving his Grandmas we headed to the hotel to dump my things. I was staying about 25 minutes from downtown in a place called Chula Vista, a fab wee place there was plenty to do there too.

We then headed to In N out to get a famous burger which we munched back at his lovely house. After that he was my guide for the day. He was a star. He took me to the Old Town of San Diego which was just amazing, so authentic. There is such a Mexican feel here with it being so close to Mexico there is more Mexicans here than in Mexico seemingly. Its got a very espanic community which you can see straight away, Every street corner is filled with Mexican restaurants and other Mexican specialities. We also went to Balboa Park where they had loads of Museums and a lovely Spanish Village, which was so lovely, I felt like I was back in Espana!!! We then headed to Sea Port where I enjoyed a walk along the sea front, around the quant little shops and lay on the grass to chill with my huge Ben and Jerrys ice cream!! The diets just going great!!!

Having a chilled night tonight. Ryan is out for dinner with his boss. I was invited along but couldnt be bothered, got a long day ahead of me tomorrow, heading to Vegas woohooo!!! His boss actually discussed a job opportunity with me on the phone earlier lol. Cant wait to get to Vegas, got a 7hr bus journey but will be so worth it. Meeting Katherine there whose flying down from San Francisco, bring on the cocktails and 1cent machines!!!
