Hi EveryoneHere we are at the end of the day in Wakayama.There was a change in plan due to the typhoon.We sailed on time and spent the night in Yokohama Bay to shelter from the typhoon.Around 7 the next morning we sailed off and had all day yesterday at sea. Sadly we had to miss the fire works festival in Kumano as it had been cancelled due to the typhoon, so it was a change of plan to sail the long way around to be on the edge of the typhoon and getting to Wakay...

Arrived terminal in Yokohama after 1 hour 20 minutes ride.Seems to be very organised here - waiting for our number to come up to board the ship.

Tuesday - first day in Tokyo although we did have a wander around last night after we had booked in to the hotel. Today we are booked on the full day tour of Toyko city. Day OneI left Wellington on a wet and cold morning, the temperature was 6 degrees. .The shuttle got me to the airport at 12.15 for my 2.45pm flight. It was interesting wandering the terminal to see all the new changes. A lot of new eating places and a new system of putting your suitcase on to a conveyor belt and scanning the tag yourself.
