21st January

Today we woke up to a blazing sun! We decided it was the perfect day to head down to the beach, so instead of going to the hotels private beach we walked to the public beach, which wasn't actually as nice as we heard it was. It was very very dirty! We found a nice bit and lay down, it was so so so hot! We went in the sea which really warm- about 26 degrees I think it said! So we were happy! It was refreshing from the heat on the sand!!

We had so many looky looky men come over to us. One man even brought bed covers and tried selling them to us! Random... Plenty of bracelets, sunglasses and over priced ice creams!

We eventually had enough of the beach at around 2:30 so went for a walk back up the strip. When we got back to the hotel it was amazing to jump into the freezing pool- needless to say that neither of us stayed in for very long!!

That evening we headed down to the strip! We went to a little beauty salon! Cherry got the side of her head braided which actually looks really cool! She's got four little braids- Im most impressed that her scalp hasn't been burnt yet! It looks so funny seeing her face then her whiter than white scalp! Meanwhile I went and got a foot massage which was amazing!! It was even better that it cost so little.

We had dinner in o a cosy little Thai restaurant, we chose a concoction of dishes and they were amazing! So yummy!! We then had to walk up and down the strip about 4 times! It's a long old strip!! Takes about 45 mins to go from one end to the other! We had to go back to the hotel because neither of us brought enough money for the evening! I bought a pair of sandals for about £2.50!! Cherry bought some bits and pieces as well- so we were really happy.

At 11 o/c it was time to go to the LADYBOY SHOW! We went to the moulin rouge! We walked into this room which was red velvet everywhere! There were ladyboys dressed in sparkly short dresses- they all had amazing bodies! When you compared the size of their hands to their tiny skinny figures it was so funny! We got cocktails brought to us, which were amazing! When the show started it was amazing! They sang all these songs which we were just loving! Dancing and singing along. We had the best seats, they came so close and cherry was literally flirting with one at one point!! Never have I ever seen so many nipple tassels in one place- they were wearing all sorts of strange things, like leather lingerie, feather coats and lots and lots of sparkle!! I think our best bit was when they did Gangamstyle! We were dancing along, it was the funniest thing! There was one lady boy who was literally the most stunning woman I have ever seen!! We were in such awe, I couldn't believe she/he was a boy once!! I think it took a LOT of surgery to look like that! Equally there were some really ugly ones that definitely looked like men!

When it finished we headed back to the hotel with a slight detour having met some Australians from Perth. They did make us laugh and were very unimpressed at the lady boy show. They were also unimpressed that we wouldn't go out with them- we had to be up at 7- it was already about 1:30 and we had to walk back down the strip!

When we got back, cherry was zonked- and I couldn't sleep a wink. Should have definitely stayed out!! I think I got to sleep finally at about 5.30 which annoyed me so much (sorry to Charlie for being so grumpy and blaming him!)
