Had an incident overnight where Jenny had to be taken to hospital. She was the girl that fell off the elephant at Antelope Park. She definely had some deep seeded issues. Ruth, our tour guide, escorted her to Cape Town where she was treated at a clinic.
We travelled through the rich fruit growing are of Citrusdal before crossing the Piketberg Pass to the Cape's wine growing regions. We had our first sight of Table Mountain across Table Bay. It was an exciting moment.
We finished our tour at the Ashanti Hostel where everyone went their own ways.
Jenny Betty and I checked into our hotel and got a taxi down to Victoria Wharf (the marina) to book our tours at the Clock Tower for the next few days. Then we got another taxi up to Table Mountain and travelled on the cableway to the top. What a magnificent view. It was breathtaking, amazing.......................WOW.
Later in the evening we met up with some of our group and had our last meal together at a Game Restuarant - the Khaya Nyama on Long Street. On the menu was Crocodile steaks, Kudu steaks, Impala.................We gave our tour leaders their tip and bid them farewell.
