The second day in Seoul started at the Tourism Information office.
We registered for a Korean cooking class and learned to write our names in their language. Then took a map and started wondering around town in order to do the typical touristy stuff. I will not bother you with palaces and shrines, but the most interesting thing about Korean history is a king called "Sejong" who basically defined the Korean way (created their language and gave them an identity different from the Chinese and Japanese). Very cool they way Korean scripting language is constructed from basic vocal sounds and nature elements. There is a mathematical way where complicated meanings are constructed symbols as a puzzle in order to create words.
The walk continued in the famous "Insadong" area and then off to the highest peak (teleferic ride) for great views.
A day acting like tourists had to end eating like tourists. A typical meal in Namdaemun market where meat and vegetables are barbequed at your table on your personal BBQ grill.
