I spent 3nts here in total, 1nt before heading off to Pahia and then 2 on the way back. The 1st night we were there, me & Alma met up with Cloie who we'd met on a few of the Kiwi buses at the start of our trip and also Christina, Katie & Rachel...so it was a nice little reunion! My last day in Auckland, Me, Phil & Alma did a sightseeing trip around the City, which took us to the Auckland Harbour bridge, where we were able to climb part of it and then....wait for it....I bungy jumped off it!! I can't explain how nervous I was! It was a completely different feeling to a skydive. After I eventually jumped, I was supposed to pull a cord which would flip me upright and then they'd pull me back up...however, I couldn't pull the cord hard enough, so had to be pulled up upside down!!! Think I was just still in shock that i'd done it! Afterwards we headed to Devonport for "fush & chups!" and a swift pint in mine, Alma & Phils case! (I needed it after the jump!) After the tour, we said goodbye to Alma, which was sad as i'd travelled around the whole of New Zealand with her. Later on that day I ventured up the skytower...I can say my my fear of heights is still not quite cured! It made me feel quite ill, especially with the glass floor! I also met up with Lisa & Laura & had a few drinks with them on my last night in New Zealand...and will be catching up with them in Fiji...our 3rd country of meeting up!!
