Today was another bus journey. It took a few hours but I used the opportunity to yet again catch up with the well needed sleep. We eventually turned up at Townsville - the area with the worlds highest rate of skin cance, due to the lack of ozone, so lots of sun cream!
I then jumped on the ferry over to Magnetic Island where I made the most of a food voucher at my hostel.
Since having food prepared for me on the boat I've now eaten out two nights in a row, so it's going to be hard to get back into the rhythm of cooking for myself! I'm sure ill get there though, would be easier if I was producing a better final product.
Every hostel has a certain night every night of the week. Tonight in Base where I'm staying it was Boozy Bingo which involved beer and bingo! Annoyingly I didn't win but met a few new people which is always the aim of the nights out! Looking forward to a full day tomorrow, so much I could do, what to choose.... There is always chilling on the beach!
