Chaz & Sue, good friends from England arrived this afternoon with Keith in tow, another enthusiastic birder and very nice chap. We had a light lunch at the hotel and caught up on old and new news. Paul and Joke picked us up at 6pm for dinner. We drove to a delightful restaurant on a pond with a water feature and lots of reeds. Spotted a Eurasian Coot with nesting material, a Common Tern hunting, and a long tailed parakeet as we were leaving. Keith got a few pictures of the terns the raspberry and I got one of the Coot. Dinner was very good but mostly I liked the raspberry/tarragon ice cream. A delicious flavor combination.
