The coldest night I’ve ever spent was in a remote area of Bolivia at 13,156 ft. We are on our way to Chile in a Toyota Land Cruiser with Daria our cook. Meals have been robust and delicious. Our accommodations are decent and fairly clean but the shower was a bit scary and there was no heat in the room. Even with multiple blankets it was freezing.
