This is a view of downtown Amman from the jebel (hill) that the citadel sits on. You'll notice there's an ancient theatre in the background. It's called the Roman theatre and was constructed early in the first millennium AD. It is still used as a performance theatre today.

Oh ya, one last thing, I was just standing around admiring the ruins at one point when I heard a "clippity-clop" coming across the rocks in between two ancient ruin walls. Out popped five funny looking goats looking for some lush veg to graze on. It was pretty funny.
