Mon - Rodeo drive baby! on the night we went for a stroll around the mall and had more Starbucks

I havnt updated this for quite some time so I know what days we did stuff, as I wrote it in a journal but not sure of the dates?

Today we spent most of the day trying to download photos and then tried to buy some really dodgy laptop 2nd hand from an even dodgier guy, we didnt thank God!There was a premiere of Jessica Simpson tonight, red carpet at the chinese theatre so stayed and watched all the very glamorous cars and celebs arriving, unfortunately didnt have the camera though.  The ladies had dresses to die for!!One of the guys was wearing denim overalls - not a good look?  Jessica crossed the road to say Hi to her fans she was right next to us ! not that were J.S fans at all, but some of the younger girls were going mad.  Did I mention we also saw Borat filming with a lady boy? I cant remember, we have pics of him anyway.  We went to Pig and Whistle for tea which was absolutely gorgeous, best meal out of whole vocation so far!!(apart from the Luxor buffet)

 Wed

 We went to the Farmers market, which was excellent and well worth a visit.  All different types of foods from all around the world in an open courtyard.  There was everything you could imagine and specialist jar shops and all crazy dessrts and things, which we could have brought some things from there, all really unusual Dad would've loved it, crazy pigs trotters, all types of seafood, eels, gaters etc  In the afternoon we went to Venice beach again, unfortunately no sun, im sure its running away from us!  At night got a huge cheese pizza and did some washing then packed as we leave tomorrow.  Its weird thinking that your leaving somewhere, but no way feels like when your on holiday cos its like where are we going next, and I wonder if it will be as coll as the last place?

Thurs 21st Sep?

Anyway, today we went on a mission to buy a laptop, which we thought was agood idea due to cheap prices in the U.S and all the hassle we'd been having with the computers here.  In view of this now (being in N.Z) Were glad we didnt.  Anyway that day we went a long way on a bus and came back with nothing to cut a long stroy short (for once!!)  It was a place called Frys and up in Burbank near the airport and we passed Warner Bros studios on the way.

After our unsuccessful trip, we went and had another Popeyes - good reccommendation Kev!  Then walked down the street to have another Hooters!! - Well it was our last day in Hollywood, and we wanted to make the most of the american food whilst we could!! Fat b******s!!!  Went to the airport, which was really disappointing as we got there a good 4hrs early due to high security allert and had bigged ourselves up for some shopping, but there was nothing there as all the terminals and gates are seperated.  So we had a couple of farewell U.S.A drinks instead, on with the next mission!
