We did make it uneventfully to St. Andrews. It is BEAUTIFUL here... Actually the entire drive here was beautiful. We made it by dinner time and after taking in the fact that Jas had arrived to the birthplace of golf we had dinner. The pub is owned by a husband, from Texas and his Scottish Wife. They were brilliant as marketing it as an American golf bar because the place was packed with American accents nachos, chicken wings and Budweiser beer filled the room!
We popped and walked around the ruins of the famous St. Andrews castle and cathedral... More on that after I do the tour and actually know why this is so cool. We did a bit of a pub crawl back to American pub where we watched the last half of the LPGA Open. Now I like golf, it's fun to watch a big Sunday event with a bunch of people... But a BAR FULL of fans, making side bets and cheering as Michelle Wei made birdie to secure the win was pretty cool.
Jas golfs tomorrow on the Jubilee Course as he warms up for his big day on the old course.
