June 27-30 We arrived in Krakow late on Friday night and got settled into our apartment which is right on the Old Town main square. It's hard to put into words what it was like visiting both Austwhich and Auschwitz-Birkenau today. This is a bit of a long post but it is as much for me to capture the experience. We decided to take a tour to the camp and am glad we did. We had door to door bus service and a smallish group. It is very busy at Auschwitz and everyone has to have a guides tour anyway.
