Charly's Travel Journal
Today we are in Pisco, yesterday we were actually in lima...we left lima at about midday,so we had a lie-in and a chance to prepare for the tour, getting any money changed etc. We also had a little wander into the centre before w got on our coach to head to Pisco. It was a fairly long journey and very cramped as the people infront of us decided to lean their chairs right back, and we didn't want to do the same as we would have squashed the people in our tour behind us,so we spent most of the four hours with our faces in the chairs infront.it was good to see the changing landscapes around us though-peru has 73% of all the worlds different climates.
When we arrived in Pisco it was about 54.30pm,so we were shown to our roms in a lovely family run peruvian hotel, and then Julios our guide took us on a tour of Pisco,a fairly small town, but very important as a port and the place where Peru's independence was initiated. In the evening we ate a delicious range of Peruvian dishes and were accompanied by the panpipes and a guitar.
Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
