Hello again everyone, sorry havn't been able to update in a while but Fiji does not have internet access on the islands (for obvious reasons really). don't really expect them too as on a lot of them the electricity isn't very good, it flickers and goes off at midnight every day which is great fun when u have to pee in the middle of the night and have to leave the little straw hut we were living and bump into bushes on the way to the outdoor bathrooms! great fun!! we spend the week mainly on the beach despit the weather not being quite as good as i could have been for a few days. it was quite cloudy but towards the end of the week we saw a bit of sun and did a few activites like swimming in underground caves which was damn scary and dark. we also did sea kayaking which was very tiring but great fun the water was such a great colour! we went out on a sailing boat for a dat with free alcohol (always good!) and saw the island where cast away was filmed. we also stayed on the Celebrity Love Island (which was a TV programme for all those that don't know) which was quite exciting. umm can't remember what else we did now,im sure i will later, it is hard to remember everything did in the last week. o yeh we tried kava ( i think that is how it is spelt) anyway it is a local drink (not alcohol) but it looks kinda like tea and tastes like mud (!) but it is a relaxing thing and the locals have a little ceramony that goes with it and stuff, very interesting. anway we are now in Melbourne which is lovely but very COLD! when we arrived last night it was 7degrees which is crazy! it is about 15 during the day but we didn't bring many warm clothes we have to spend our time shopping (such a shame that really!). only one week now until we are home now guys. very excited! can't wait to see you all. love Cbs n Jo xx
