We slept so well last night, our bed is so comfortable that I didn't want to get up! So after breakfast we went back to our hut and did a little diary and reading then went for a short nap. We didn't mean to sleep in for so long, when we woke it was already lunch time! We got ready and Met Jo and Jake, like dinner last night the lunch was just as good.
Having already wasted half the day sleeping I made Chris take a walk with me along the beach. The weather wasn't as nice as yesterday, it was really windy and the sea looked quite rough. I didn't care though I wanted to get some sun bathing in. So we looked for a cosy spot to lay down, which wasn't easy. There was no shelter from the wind which felt chilly now! The tide was so low we could see the corals showing so there was no way we would be going swimming today. To be honest the beach isn't as nice as we thought and no where near as nice as the beach we had at Barefoot. Oh well we made the most of it and laid our towels down, which was difficult as the wind was so strong they almost blew away! Determined to beat the wind we laid on our backs for an hour putting up with the spray of sand in our faces every now and then. Then we turned over and did half an hour on our bellies. We didn't bring any music down with us so we chatted and dreamt about travelling around Central and South America next. Eventually the wind picked up even more so we gave in and went back to our room for a shower. Chris was pleased anyway, it was afternoon tea time.
We bumped into Jo and Jake and like yesterday we ended up chatting until the sun had set. We didn't want to be late for dinner again so we went back early and got ready straight away.
Some of the staff were singing along to their guitars while we ate our dinner and they had the kava out again for us to drink but not many people were interested this time. We sat up and had a little drink with Jo and Jake and showed them our New Zealand photos. Then we watched a video of Karl Pilkington before going to bed at 10pm.
