Rotorura was a very smelly place - this was due to the sulphur, definitley wouldn't want to stay longer than a night or 2, this evening we went to a Maori village where they had recreated what it would of been like, this was very interesting and was followed by a massive feast of all you can eat! The next day we headed to Taupo, the lake is meant to be the same size as Singapore. We both had decided to do a skydive, so excited but petrified at the same time, we bumped into some friends from home and all got ourselves excited to do it, all in blue overals we headed up 12000 feet in a bright pink plane, it all happened so quickly and before I know it was plummeting out of a plane, free falling for 45 seconds before a parachute opens up, was the most amazing experience ever and definitley had a huuge adrenalin rush, so glad to have the photos and video although Hannah's smiling the entire way through my mouth stayed wide open screaming the whole way - you'd never think I actually enjoyed it!! After Taupo we went off to a place in the middle of no where called 'River Valley' this was beautiful, so relaxing and refreshing to feel so cut off it was a lodge with hills and streams around, a few of us went into what was meant to be a spa but ended up being a little hot tub which I can't say was too warm but still had fun, after a meal we cooked ourselves and a night out in there bar it was definitley a place we'll remember.
