Today we first spent some time walking around the old quarter of San Diego, which was like walking through a Wild West film! It was full of saloons and old buildings, we really enjoyed just looking at the old streets.

We then carried on walking right the way down through San Diego to Little Italy, an area of nice restaurants and bars in Downtown, taking a detour at the airport to sort our car hire for later that evening. From there we then went further down to the Gaslamp District, a really cool area with loads of bars and cafes. We really liked it. We also took a walk on the front of the pier, which was full of massive yachts. There must be a lot of money in San Diego!

Later that night we got a taxi to pick up our hire car, then drove up to La Jolla, picking up a splint for me and some treats on the way!
