Today we first spent some time walking around the old quarter of San Diego, which was like walking through a Wild West film! It was full of saloons and old buildings, we really enjoyed just looking at the old streets. We got up early and headed over to the world famous San Diego zoo! I'm not normally a big fan of them, but most of the animals seemed to have loads of space and a natural native environment. It was massive and we spent the whole day wandering around. My favourites were the tigers, the hippos, and all the different types of monkey! Today was another arm related write off. We got an early flight to San Diego, which by some miracle arrived early! The insurance company were useless and hadn't managed to arrange an appointment for me with an orthopaedic surgeon (although we later found out from the clinic that they'd held an appointment for me but the insurance company just hadn't come back to them).
