Well.... Niagara falls with Samir... And if it's us two it probably means something will most definitely go wrong... And it did...
First we got there and our room was booked out so we got stuck with a city view room.... Oh wait... FIRST the indicator light broke!!!!
Second... I saw the cutest ghost in a skill tester in a servo along the way and I decided not to try and get it.. biggest mistake ever!! Then we got to the hotel... It was midnight so we slept.
Next day we made our way to the falls!!
They were pretty massive!!
We went on maid of the mist and we got pretty drenched!!! It was awesome!! It's always fun when you get to wear blue plastic ponchos!! We got to wear three that day!! Whoooppp!!!
Then we went on a white water walk... Basically a board walk along the river... Got to read about the people who went down the river in barrels!!!
One woman died.. Not because she got stuck in a rip or anything... But because she had decided to take her dog in the barrel with her and it stuck it's nose in the only hole in the barrel to get air.. So she suffocated.. Moral of the story.... If you are going over niagara falls in a barrel with your dog... Make sure there are two holes!!!
After thar we went on a tour that went behind the falls... Basically there is a lookout right next to the falls and some tunnels that go behind niagara falls with peepholes.. So you get to go in there... Again.. Drenched!!!
We then went to a 4D movie... Now everyone who has been to a 4d movie knows that you get sprayed with water... This was the same but like on drugs... We pretty much got damn buckets tipped on us... And it was about as cold as the actual falls!!!
Was good though!! Who doesn't love getting water thrown at them!!
That night we decided to go on a dinner date.. So we got dressed up for the first time ever even though we really couldn't be assed and went to a place where we got s*** food.. Whoa it was bad... So there is Disaster #3
After dinner we went to see the falls all lit up... they looked pretty awesome!!! On the way we got busted making out up some driveway by some random family... Kinda awkward... Disaster #3.8...we then decided to go to
Margaritaville to get margaritas!!
They too sucked...like they REALLY were bad!!! Disaster #4... :/
The next morning we got up early and decided to leave!! As it turns out I hadnt realized that I was supposed to be carrying a departure card with me always... I also had been too dumb to realize that going to the Canada side of niagara falls was departing the united states and that I may need it...
So... My departure card was sitting safely with all my air tickets in Bethlehem...
So an Indian and an Aussie rock up to the border between Canada and the USA with no departure card for the Aussie... What do you think happens??? Yay!! Immigration interviews!!!! Disaster number #5!!!
Luckily they were good... I had to buy a new departure card for $6 and then I was free to go.
So... Niagara falls was a drama... However the falls were beautiful... We didn't get lost... Neither of us fell over or got food poisoning...And we both (I think both) had a pretty awesome time and can now say we saw the falls... So it's all good!!
