Off to the windy city.. A 3am start with a sucky drive from Bethlehem to JFK...arrived in Chicago and met my host... He seemed like a pretty cool guy who suggested a lot of things to do in the city... After dinner I went to bed since I had only had a couple of hours sleep the night before....
The next day I went to millennium park to see the bean thing... Along the way I got to see some more Occupy protestors which was super exciting!!! Unfortunately there weren't as many as what there were in NYC :/
Yah so I saw the bean... I also went to the art museum which was AMAZING!!! Monet, Picasso, Pollock!!! It was so fantastic!!! After that I went costume shopping for Halloween then to the sears tower to see a view of the city...
Another hour and a half in a line....
By the time I got up there it was sunset which was beautiful of course...
Another night of crashing out ready for the science museum the next day!!
OMG I got to see a chicken hatch!!! And I saw robots and submarines and learned that my bones are 5 years old and my liver is currently 325 days old!!! That night i went to navy pier and saw some fireworks and a ferris wheel and ate awesome food!!!
The next day was spent in wicker park!! Apart from the s***ty Chicago weather... It's one of the coolest places ever!!! Veggie food, graffiti walls, whole streets of vintage stores, book stores and cafe's... If only that place was somewhere sunny!!!
Then I made my way to the old water tower/theatre district to scope out the shops...that place rocks my world!!!
My last day in Chicago was spent being boring and sleeping and doing laundry and packing ready for cayman!!!!
