Its taken us 2 days travelling and we are not yet at our next destination. On Thurs we got a longtail boat to the boat that was to take us back to the mainland. This boat broke down just before we reached land so we had to get towed in by a second boat. Then we got a minibus to take us to another minibus which took us to Hat Yai. Then a car took us to another minibus to take us to the far south of Thailand (Sungai Kolok where there is a lot of fighting but we didn't have any trouble). We then walked across the border into Malaysia where we got a taxi to take us to Kota Bahru where we found somewhere to stay.

An early start this morning, up at 5:30am. We got the train (Jungle Railway) down to a place called Kuala Lipis but the train then broke down and we were an hour and a quarter from where we needed to be. So we ended up getting the next bus here finally. We are just spending 1 night here before we head off into the National Park tomorrow morning so its another early start. Hopefully it should be good but we have heard that there has been heavy rain here over the last few days. We wanted to stay in a rangers hut in the park too to see the animals at night but we will have to see what the weather is like first. And if anything else breaks down to stop us getting there!
