We are now in the jungle in Malaysia and its wet season, very wet! We went on a 4wd jungle safari last night and saw some wild cats, wild boar and snakes. We were planning to do the night walk in the jungle instead but it is too wet. We went on a trek through the rainforest this morning and did a bit of caving. There were thousands of bats in the cave and it stank. We ended up knee deep in mucky water in the cave and had to climb up the steep rocks to get out. Lou got bit by a few leeches and now hates the jungle. On the way back we went to a local tribe to see how they make fire and had a demonstration of how to use the blowpipe to hunt. Neither of us got the arrow anywhere near the target.

We are heading off to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow where the weather shouldn't be as bad as here and at least there wont be a many insects, spiders, etc living in our room. I can't load any photos on at the moment because it is too slow here. You probably guessed that we didn't take the photo of the orang-utan.
