We went to see the National Day celebration fireworks last night and they were the best we have ever seen. 400,000 people turned out in Hong Kong to see them but we still managed to get a really good view. It took us ages to get back afterwards because the police had closed off loads of roads and were sending people in one direction. We ended up jumping over a barrier and mingling into the crowd to get back to the hostel.

Went to the beach today for the first time. It was really nice to get out of all the crowds and smog. The sea was pretty warm and Lou was scared of the small fish that were swimming around us. We were going to go to Hong Kong disney tomorrow but there is somewhere else called Ocean Park that looks better so we are going to try there instead.
