We treated ourselfs today and went to a nice restaurant for tea, we enjoyed knowing what we were eating for once.Went on a night boat trip down the river seeing the bund all lit up. Tommorrow got 20 hour train ride to hong kong. A lazy day all round for once.

We went up what we think is the worlds 2nd tallest building today and the highest public observation deck. We went to the 97th floor of the 100 storey Shanghai World Financial Centre. The views were amazing from the top, we went just at the right time as well because we got to see the buildings in daylight and then all the lights on them after the sun went down. We survived the 20 hour train journey (it even had a proper toilet) and arrived in Shanghai this afternoon. We got talking to 2 Chinese businessmen who shared our cabin and we managed to get a bit of conversation out of them when we spoke slower and louder! Shanghai seems a lot more western than anywhere else we have been which is nice, we aren't getting stared at so much.
