Hey hey,

So after Airlie we got the bus to townsville and the ferry onto Magnetic Island, it was a gorgeous place and our hostel was literally on the beach! (our room had a sea view). There wasn't really that much to do there,and even less so because Sam was an invalid! hehe. We spent three nights there,just relaxing in the day (BOTH reading my breaking dawn book-i was fed up of updating sam and just let him read with me)

And there was lots going on in the evening at the bar as there was nowhere else to go,First night we had Bar Warz,which was basically child games with an adult alcoholic twist ie,one girl was down to just her knickers playing musical chairs...sam haha! The second night was Gender Bender,some boys pull off being a girl too well, though they all said how hard it is to be a girl! sams excuse of not taking part as his foot wouldn't fit into a heel hehe.

On our last day there,sams foot looked alot better so we decided to hire out some bikes after our free Breakfast :) We were told Good Luck with getting to Horseshoe Bay,and we realised why half way up a hill...there was more hill! I convinced sam to turn around and settle for alma Bay and seeing Rock Wallabies!

Then we were off again,getting the ferry to townsville and the 7am Greyhound to Mission Beach (imagine how early i had to get up). Mission Beach was literally, 2 hostels, a woolworths supermarket and a verrrrrry long beach, so again not much to do! So thankfully years of knocking conkers down out of trees (majority of times me and jo doing it on the sneak after school) came in useful when we wanted a coconut! Sam got a good one,and i just picked one up off the floor,no sweat :) I had a lovely drink of malibu (Goon in a coconut) out of mine!

We had one amazing thing that we did though, White water rafting down the Tully river in the middle of the rainforest! It was amazing,Grade 4 rapids (none of those poncy Grade 3's sam did in Canada) all day! It was blinking hard work though my guns were killing me by the end of it! We all 'went for a swim' aswel,we have a video for when we get home! We were practically falling asleep when we got back to the hostel at 6! But we did manage to walk to the caravan park for some chips and gravy,but i can't wait for a proper chippy when i get home! Our last night there, basically the whole hostel went onto the beach to have a bonfire and some drinks :)

Missing everyone! though, next stop CAIRNS!
