Hello to everyone--what sights to see here in Rome! We saw the ruins of the roman forum and the coliseum yesterday, it was incredibly interesting to get a glimpse at what life was like hundreds and hundreds of years ago. Today we were fortunate to see Vatican City--St Peter's Basillica, the Vatican museum--many works by Raphael- and then the Sistine Chapel. I was pretty awestruck to see thefamous cieling painted by Michaelangelo-the creation of Adam is BEAUTIFUL. We are setting out for a Roman dinner, and we are heading towards the Spanish steps and the famous Trevi fountain. I am hoping to upload more pictures soon. Miss you all. C
