So I have two day of work left before I take the bus back to Auckland. I'll be staying with an amazing couple who are friends of a friend of my Dad who are letting me stay with them for a bit until I can figure out a job and head out again. Yay beach house and hot tub and nice people (plus no grump backpackers).

As far as jobs go I have a possible job as a kitchen hand at First Ascent Ltd. ski lodge at the National park in Waikato. The second is a maid in a hotel called Bayview Chateau with accomodation and meals at 12.50/hr still waiting on a reply from them though. The third is possible casual/seasonal work with the Auckland Civic Theater. I don't know what I would end up doing there or for how long but it would be a theater job...or at least a job for the theater selling tickets or cleaning or working the bar.

Kerikeri has been the perfect remote place to take the time and work through all the college material, write the essays, and send everything off. I'm begining to see why I had to end up here afterall.

I take the bus on Saturday and should know where I'll end up longterm in a week or two. Post address stays the same, I'll let everyone know when it changes.
