Ok Travel plans as of today.... Here at Ohau until May 8th meet up with Sam on way to Christchurch for birthdays and visit some of his family head back up to Auckland/Hamilton area to visit more family and fly to the Uk Travel around Uk and spend the first week of June in Paris hopefully meet up with a few people Then either home in Early August or September

The wind at Ohau was violent today. It comes down the dobson valley and takes everything with it. Febuary 17th So after the excitement of last week life at Ohau has settled down once more. Today's plans, Timaru. Di and Charlie go into town for two days to get groceries because it's such a remote area trying to buy groceries in Twizel is a bit of a joke...and expensive. Well it has been one hell of a week at Ohau and I now firmly believe in the saying of "bad things happen in three's" About three days ago we had the dump catch on fire (we burn anything that isn't recycled or given to the pigs) but thats changing soon :) It burned for about two days but didn't cause any major damage...the fire crew only had to come out to make sure it didn't get out of hand.
