Hey,

Took my first Malaria tablets today. Horrid stuff. Two tablets once a week for three months, and Monday will be the day of disdain.

It's exactly two weeks before leaving and in some ways the very start of my journey. For a long time I thouhgt I was not going even though the flights were booked and the fees were paied. It is slowly starting to dawn on me. A minor thing- taking two tablets- has triggered the way I feel about going. It is incredible to experience how I, like other organisms react on certain triggers in the environment. I am part of nature, nor above it or seperated from it.
