Day 14 of our European adventure
Today we met Carol & Rob for breakfast on the boat! We didn't have any tours scheduled so we ate a leisurely breakfast & decided to head into Toulon, France where we were docked to explore the town! (Carol & Rob went with us) We took a water shuttle in & bought some tickets to take a train ride around the town to see the highlights! They have lots of fountains in Toulon however they haven't taken good care of them so some of them didn't work very well! They did have a very nice beach area in one part of the town! After the train tour we just traveled around on foot to take some pics of the better looking fountains! We took our water shuttle back to the ship around 2:15 & then went up on deck to meet Carol & Rob for a late lunch! After lunch we went back to our rooms & began the process of packing because our big bags had to be outside our staterooms before we went to dinner! Got everything crammed into our suitcases & put them out to be picked up & went down for dinner just in time to see the parade of waiters with the baked Alaska dessert! Had a great dinner with Carol & Rob & went up to their room to see some pics & exchange information about where we were staying in Barcelona so we could hopefully meet up again for some sightseeing! Headed to bed about 10:30! All in all a more relaxing day (except for the packing)! Please pray that we haven't overloaded our suitcases!
