So we have come to our last night on Koh Phangan this evening (very sad). We had an amazing day yesterday we had a very relaxing day on the beach. I even managed to venture into the sea yesterday and I believe that Jo has some photos as evidence! We were also trying to book up the rest of our trip. We are heading to Phuket from here. We were meant to go straight to Phi Phi but the timings of our flight means that we miss the last boat and therefore are having to spend one night in Phuket town and then catching the first boat over on monday morning. So excited. We hopefully have been able to book in the same accomodation as Mat and Vernon and based on their recommendation for Palita's I am looking forward to it. Although I made the reservation over a very dodgy phone line and I hope they understood what I was saying but we will wait and see. Last night was meant to be the full moon party as you know. What a let down! We had a great start to the evening as Palita's put on a massive buffet dinner for all the guests was a nice spread and allowed us to get to know some other people here! After dinner we decided that we would go put on our flourescent paint ready for the party! The word on the street was that the party was still going ahead as usual but not a proper "full moon party". So we thought we could still have a good time. We headed down the beach to be greeted by closed bars, no music and just a few groups of people spread across the beach! very disappointing to say the least. So we ended up returning to Palita's where thankfully they were still serving alcohol and we just ended up chatting to some swedish girls who we had met earlier in the week and an american couple. Was very chilled evening all in all.
Woke this morning to do some serious sunbathing! Needed to get on with the tan. I am pleased to say that I don't feel white anymore thankfully but still have over a week to top up my tan! We got talking to some more people round the pool today which was really nice but unfortunalty it has been overcast this afternoon. As a result it is speltering this evening! very humid! Finally had our last meal this evening, headed into town hoping that their would be a fire show but yet again was let down. Have been able to upload my most recent photos onto facebook although having some problems transferring them to here. We also have ahad a massage. I had another thai massage and Jo had a foot massage. I have never heard someone giggly so much! Finally we have paid off our hotel tab 10,000THB in total! And are finally using up our last of our time on the internet! Jo is meant to be writing a blog as she has been very poor this week but has been distracted by MSN!!!! lol. so I guess you will all have to rely on my attempts.
