Good Morning from Vietnam,

How are we all? I have arrived in the capital of Vietnam this morning on the sleeper train from Hue. In Hue I went on a motor bike tour of the countryside- visited an Americanbunker beside the Perfume River, a temple & watched the Monks praying, a arena where tigers & elephant would fight, the Kings tomb & a dragon boat ride on the river. I had lunch with the nuns in the hills. It was i think my best day since i've been in Vietnam. Only other 2 people on the tour were Nick & Jessie...it was cool.

Today we have had a walking tour of the city- vistiting Ho Chinh Minhs house & his body, which was interesting. I am now in the hotel reception Nick a guy on the tour is sat beside me annoyin me haha we are trying to decide what to do this afternoon!

Not sure if i have written about Hoi An- this has been my favourite place so far in Vietnam it is both historic, rural yet modern. It is famous for its tailoring so i decided as i'm travelling to get two dresses made- one from Silk for weddings next year and the other is a summer dress...i could have spent loads of money as it was so cheap to get anything you wanted tailored!
