Monday 14th and we went to visit Featherdale Wildlife Park outside of Sydney, it is basically a much cooler Aussie version of Marwell. We took the train and sat on the top deck lol. We saw Koalas, Joeys and amazing dingo puppys. All in all lots of amazing and seriously cute animals. We took the whale boat out again on the Tuesday morning and the swell was under a metre which was a definite improvement on last time (a swell over 3 metres and lots of ill people including mum falling over lol). Within the first hour we came across a pod of 8 humpback whales all coming up to breathe and then rediving. It was great to see them on their epic journey to migrate north up the east coast. We got back to Circular Quay and then climbed the pylon for a great view across the harbour. We did some shopping for Ugg boots and had salad for dinner (thanks to our weird food cravings). The following day we took a day long trip out to the Blue Mounatins which were spectacular. Decided to do a long cliff walk and hopped on and off the trolley bus all day and took a ride on the steepest passenger railway in the world, pretty hair raising. We finsihed the day with a cream tea, heaven! Thursday we had a much needed lie in and then met Mum and Dad at Paddy´s for some souvenir shopping, Helen and Dad went to see the light show which was part of Vivid Sydney. We spent a lazy day on Friday walking from Bondi beach all the way to Coogee beach which was amazing scenery. We then had an early dinner at our favourite, the Blackbird Cafe and took a taxi to a classical concert at the Sydney Opera House of Beethoven and Brunch. The next day we had to say goodbye to Mum and Dad again, :( Helen chilled out and I went to the powerhouse museum to take in a bit of culture. 20th we were picked up to start an epic journey to Lima via Auckland (which was a bit of a suprise) and Beunos Aires.
