We are off!! t***ie and Testie were ready to hit the road. We had planned on staying the night just outside of Kings Canyon National Park. We just assumed everyone would be home and not traveling after Labor Day, but we were wrong...all the RV parks were full. So...it was on to Visalia via HWY 99 along with a bazillion trucks. We arrived at 4:30pm at the Sequoia and Kings Canyon KOA RV park. We had a tree and there was a pool...all is well. Walt and Barb served up Hamburgers with a wonderful watermelon salad after a game of cards. It was hot...and I imagine it will get hotter the farther south we travel.

Next stop, Joshua Tree National Park area.
